This Training will be of interest to a broad range of service providers and practitioners who wish to connect in more meaningful ways with men. The training usually last for a full day 9:30am – 4:30pm but a half day input is also possible.

The course is Unit 8 of the ‘Engage’ National Men’s Health programme and is supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Department of Health and Health Service Executive. It is coordinated by Men’s Development Network and was developed in partnership with Engage Training partners such as South East Technological University (SETU), Men’s Health Forum in Ireland and HSE Ireland.

Connecting with Men: A programme dedicated to building the capacity of service provider to engage men in relation to their health and wellbeing.
This programme was created in 2022 and consolidated the key learnings and approaches from its predecessors Units 1-5 ‘Engaging Men in Health’, Unit 6 ‘Connecting with Young Men’ and Unit 7 ‘Men in the Middle’ into one unit.
